Staying at this hotel was like checking into a room at Grandma's house. While the initial room felt freeeeezing, the stay turned out very nice. The service, especially from one of the nicest staff I've ever met, was top-notch in friendliness. The location was very convenient to Carrollton, making it a great place to visit. However, there was an ever-present odor of stale cigarette smoke, and the thresholds to the bathroom had carpet tacks sticking out. The dining experience, starting at 7:00 am, offered a basic but satisfactory free continental breakfast.
